“Black Panther: Wakanda Forever” became the most-watched Marvel film to premiere on Disney+ worldwide, the platform announced Monday, beating out other popular franchises on the platform including the 2021 Marvel films Eternals and Black Widow and 2019’s Avengers: Endgame.

In its first 5 days since debuting, Wakanda Forever garnered more hours streamed than any other Marvel film in their first five days on the platform.

The sequel follows the people of Wakanda in the wake of the death of their leader King T’Challa’s —played by Chadwick Boseman, who died in 2020.
