Q&A
What’s your favourite place and why?
I don’t have one. Places are like people – they’re always changing. Places I have fond memories of I find myself returning to in adulthood and learning that they’ve entirely changed.
Who or what has been your greatest creative inspiration?
Honestly, my own journey. The ups and downs, the risks, and the reinventions have all fuelled my creativity. Seeing how I can turn challenges into something beautiful inspires me.
What has been your finest hour so far?
Launching $MOTHER was a pinnacle moment for me – it merged my creative vision with my entrepreneurial spirit, showcasing that my capabilities stretch beyond music into realms like crypto currency.
Any guilty pleasures?
If you know me, you know it’s sausage sizzles. If I lived near a Bunnings, I’d be there weekly, but I’m all the way over in Miami, so my family sends me the thin ones from Woolies or Coles, and I make them myself.
What advice would you give your 20-year-old self?
I’d tell my 20-year-old self not to be so focused on needing to be right all the time because it’s just impossible!
What makes you happy?
Seeing my son smile and watching him grow makes me incredibly happy. The feeling of accomplishment after a successful project launch or a creative breakthrough is pure joy. It’s those little moments of connection and creation that bring true happiness.
What’s next for you?
A month ago, I wouldn’t have imagined where I am today. I’m excited about the upcoming launch of DreamVault, a new crowd-funding gifting platform I’ve taken part in developing. I am focused on continuing to grow Unreal Mobile. Most importantly, I’m hyper-fixated on developing $MOTHER and integrating the coin into web2 projects because I am very inspired by the crypto community. Being successful in that space is number one on my list of things.
How has your background influenced your approach to your tech ventures?
My artistic background has always been about pushing boundaries and creating visually and conceptually. That translates directly into my tech ventures, where I aim to innovate and challenge the norms. With $MOTHER, I want to be part of innovative ground-making ventures and bridge the web2 and web3 world.
What have been the biggest surprises in your journey from music to entrepreneurship?
Most people have been surprised to realise how similar the music and business worlds can be. Both require creativity, a deep understanding of your audience, and the courage to take risks. The transition was smoother than I expected because it’s all about connecting with people, whether it’s through music or a product. I’ve always been true to myself, whether on stage or in a boardroom. My identity drives my professional ventures – I bring the same energy, boldness, and creativity to everything I do. This authenticity has helped me build a cohesive brand that seamlessly bridges my various interests and projects.
