Jacob Elordi
Age: 26
After starring in Netflix’s The Kissing Booth film series and HBO’s teen drama series Euphoria, Australian-born Jacob Elordi shot to international stardom. He’s since gained further prominence thanks to his role as Elvis Presley in Priscilla, and playing a prominent co-star in the controversial film Saltburn, which earned him a nomination for the BAFTA Award for Best Actor in a Supporting Role.
Kid Laroi
Age: 20
Though he was born in Australia to music industry-steeped parents, Kid Laroi had a turbulent childhood: his father was largely absent and his uncle, who helped raise Laroi, was murdered in 2015. The rapper owes his success to SoundCloud, then signing to Sony Australia in 2017. Today, his song Without You has gone platinum five-times over and Stay with Justin Bieber has three-time platinum certification.
Tkay Maidza
Age: 28
Zimbabwe-born Australia-raised singer-songwriter Tkay won ‘Best Soul/R&B Release’ in 2021, and in 2018 won ‘Best Australian Act’ at the MTV Europe Music Awards. Fresh off the back of a new album release and a 20-date tour throughout North America and Canada, Maidza’s star is rising. She has over 750,000 monthly listeners on Spotify, focusing mostly on pop and R&B sound.
Troye Sivan
Age: 28
YouTube stardom earned him film roles (2009’s X-Men Origins: Wolverine) and a dreampop music career that’s become his main focus. The South Africa-born, Australia-raised artist’s first full-length album Blue Neighborhood earned gold certification in the US. The musician – who calls Melbourne home and was last year’s ARIA Best Artist – has since launched a fragrance line, Tsu Lange Yor, which sells candles, perfumes and a range of elevated homeware items. After selling out arenas in Europe, Sivan is set to embark on his Something To Give Each Other tour.
